Osceola County News Brief - 2018 RNCFR Cattle Drive

In a tradition that is older than the County we call home, Osceola County Commissioners and several local dignitaries participated in the annual, historic cattle drive that began at Courthouse Square and proceeded through the streets of downtown, led by trail boss Rory Coleman, a decorated Army veteran and UCF graduate and undefeated football player. The cattle were a little ornery at first but were herded to their destination with the help of ranch hands and cattle dogs.

Be sure to come out to the rodeo! Tickets for the RNCFR be purchased through Ticketmaster or rncfr.com. Bringing a group? Call Rich Mastroberte at 321-697-3323 to for group sales and a $3.00 per ticket discount.

The RNCFR is a thrilling elimination format that culminates in the national champions being crowned in 7 events, Osceola County is bringing a bigger and better “Tailgate Experience” this year, featuring great food and live music outside the arena for the Friday through Sunday rodeo performances.
