It's official! The long-awaited opening of a new, four-lane section opened on December 22nd. The 2.6-mile stretch should eliminate a traffic bottleneck and improve safety. Commissioner Michael Harford and Commissioner Brandon Arrington were on hand for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and were excited about the prospects.
