Osceola County Opens 'Osceola Cares' Portal for Funds to Help Orlando Shooting Victims
Osceola County opened www.osceola.org/osceolacares Tuesday, which will allow citizens to donate funds to aid the victims of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting.
All donations will go to a PayPal account managed by Osceola County. Osceola County and the City of Orlando will work together to ensure funds collected benefit the victims and families of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy, with an emphasis on those impacted from Osceola County. The County also is accepting cash donations at the Administration Building, 1 Courthouse Square.
A gunman killed at least 49 people and wounded more than 50 others during an attack at a gay nightclub in Orlando early Sunday morning. The worst mass casualty shooting in U.S. history has stirred worldwide outrage at the shooter, who was killed by police – while uniting people around the globe for the victims and for our entire Central Florida community.
“Osceola Cares” is one way the County is supporting Orlando’s resilience during this time of healing.
