Osceola News Brief - Cattle Drive 2019

To kick off the return of the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo to the Silvers Spurs Arena for its fifth year, dignitaries participated in the annual Cattle Drive through downtown Kissimmee. This is the fourth year in a row that cattle have been driven down Kissimmee's main thoroughfare as a crowd of spectators looked on.

This event is part of a tradition that ties back to the history of Osceola County, that celebrates both Osceola’s growing standing at the regional table and its roots – those pioneer days when Kissimmee was the “Cow Capital of Florida” and stray cattle were left penned by the courthouse until their owners claimed them.
