Osceola News Minute Fire Station 64 Groundbreaking and Valencia Poinciana Campus on the horizon

Osceola County Commissioner Brandon Arrington gives us information about the new fire station coming to Poinciana. Fire Station 64 is the first station that will be built using the new 4-bay design that includes a community room that will be the template for all future stations in the county. Unlike the “temporary” station it will replace, it is designed to withstand severe weather events with up to 150 mph wind speed. Also, he visits the field where the new Valencia College campus for Poinciana that, if all goes well with funding, is scheduled to be built and open by Fall 2017.·
