Osceola News Minute - Poinciana Parkway Opening 5k

A very special way to inaugurate the opening of the new Poinciana Parkway took place on Saturday, April 30, 2016 as over 350 runners, walkers, and spectators took to the untraveled road to experience the new Parkway in a once in a roadway opportunity. As they traveled across the bridge which is now open and can be traveled upon for free until May 1st, runners were able to see and feel the road which is now a new way out of Poinciana. Spearheaded by Osceola County and the Osceola County Expressway Authority, this video shows the culmination of lot of hard work by many people across the community.
