What’s Up Osceola? - Newly Installed Batting Cages to Open February 20, 2021
Osceola County, FL - February 18, 2021 - It's time to step up to the plate and hone your batting skills, now that there are batting cages at the Buenaventura Community Park.
The seven new lighted batting cages will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 3 p.m. until 9.m. Saturday hours are from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m.
There are two cages for fast pitch baseball, one for youth baseball, two for slow pitch softball and two for fast pitch softball.
Join District 2 Commissioner Viviana Janer as she pitches all the improvements to the batting cages and tells you how you can score a reservation to take a swing at the opportunity to work on your batting skills for as little as $9.
Advance reservations must be made through the Osceola County Parks reservation system at apm.activecommunities.com/osceolaparks or in person with a credit card, as cash is not accepted.
Reservations can be in 15- minute, half-hour and 1-hour blocks.
Current COVID-19 guidelines will be utilized, including a temperature check prior to use at the new registration/check-in area.
Helmets, bats and balls are provided.
