Charter Review Advisory Commission

Overview

The Charter Review Advisory Commission is appointed every six years by the Board of County Commissioners to conduct a comprehensive study of all phases of Osceola County government. After at least two (2) public hearings and by a vote of two-thirds (2/3) of the members of the full Charter Review Advisory Commission, the Commission may submit to the Board of County Commissioners a proposal to amend or revise the Charter.

The Charter Review Advisory Commission consists of eleven members. Their terms of office are for one (1) year and ten (10) months. The upcoming term would be from January 2021 to November 2022.
