Ceremony Rescheduled for Shingle Creek Regional Park’s New Playground and Pavilion

WHO: County Commissioners, dignitaries, community members and other guests.

WHAT: Reporters and photo/video crews are invited to a ceremony for a new playground and pavilion at Shingle Creek Regional Park.

BACKGROUND: As part of a program of continuing improvement, the county has constructed a new pavilion for events and added a playground to complement at existing play area at Babb Landing, part of Shingle Creek Regional Park.

In addition, approximately 90 pine and oak trees were planted last year.
