What’s Up Osceola? - El Yunque Splash Pad Opens in BVL’s 65th Infantry Veterans Park

On Monday, July 25, 2022, District 2 Commissioner Viviana Janer was joined by children from the Boys and Girls Club to open the County's first splash pad! The latest addition to the 65th Infantry Veterans Park in Buenaventura Lakes, El Yunque Splash Pad offers 34 water features including a water dump platform, spraying palms, and an alligator. The attraction was inspired by Puerto Rico’s El Yunque National Forest - only tropical rainforest in the United States national forest system. The splash pad will operate during daylight hours, seven days a week.
