Tohopekaliga Water Authority Board of Supervisors

Purpose

The Toho Water Authority Board of Supervisors is responsible for approving all the operating policies and the operating budget for the Toho Water Authority. Toho was established for the sole purpose of providing regional stewardship over water resources in Osceola County.

Appointments and Qualifications

All five (5) members of the Board shall be rate payers and qualified electors of Osceola County or of the service area adjacent to Osceola County in which the district has been authorized to operate. Each of the general-purpose local governments responsible for appointing members shall consider appointing members with business, real estate development, engineering, accounting, financial scientific, utility governmental or public service backgrounds.

Meeting Frequency, Time and Location

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. in the Boardroom at 951 Martin Luther King Blvd., Kissimmee, FL 34741. Special meetings when they occur are slated for the fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. in the Boardroom at 951 Martin Luther King Blvd., Kissimmee, FL 34741.

Citizens are welcome to apply at any time, however applications are only considered when there is a vacancy.
