W192 Development Authority

West U. S. 192 Community Redevelopment Area

The West U.S. 192 CRA boundary is defined as the U.S. 192 corridor that runs between the City of Kissimmee to the Osceola/Polk County line and is identified as Osceola County's tourism corridor. The corridor provides entertainment, shopping, dining and lodging for visitors to the area.

W192 Development Authority

The W192 Development Authority is the single management agency responsible to oversee the programs and projects related to planning, coordinating, implementing and managing the redevelopment and revitalization of the W 192 tourism district. The Development Authority includes the W192 CRA and the W192 MSBU areas. The Development Authority will plan, design, construct, administer, operate, and maintain programs and projects that enhance the functioning and aesthetics of the district, including public transit facilities.

Grant Program

Grant applications are accepted and grant approval letters issued on a first come first served basis.

Applications must be submitted by the 31st day of a December to be evaluated in that fiscal year. Applications received after the 31st day of December will be processed in the subsequent fiscal year.
