Gene Terrico

Gene is a graduate of Southwestern State University in Oklahoma. He enjoyed a 24-year career with the Walt Disney Company in Florida and France. He has resided with his family in Osceola County, Florida since 1971. Following his career with Disney, he formed a consulting company that continues operations today. Additionally, he worked in the banking industry for 4 years. While in banking, he formed a team that was instrumental in financing one of Osceola County’s most popular attractions.

Gene is presently the Managing Partner of Street Outdoor, an outdoor publication distribution and advertising company in the Disney area.  Street Outdoor was selected as the 2011 Small Business of the Year by the Kissimmee Chamber of Commerce. Gene was named as Outstanding Community Leader is 2012 and recipient of the 2017 Linda Goodwin Nichols Service Award.

He has served in a variety of civic, business, and governmental capacities in Central Florida including Osceola County Planning Commission, MetroPlan Orlando, school advisory committees, and various civic boards. He presently serves on the Board of the Kissimmee Chamber of Commerce, Osceola County Code Enforcement Board and is the past Chairman of Osceola Community Alliance.

Gene is a member of the Kissimmee Chamber’s Osceola Resort Area Council and Four Corners Area Council where he served as Chairman. He served as the Coordinator for the Public Volunteer and Donation, ESF 15, for the Osceola County Emergency Management Department and is a founding member and immediate-past chairman of REDI, a community response and support non-profit.

Gene enjoys outdoor activities and is a car enthusiast.
