Employee of the Month - February, 2021

Osceola County expresses our appreciation and admiration for Corrections Officers Kowing and Marzano. These brave officers came to the rescue of Melbourne Beach Police Officer O’Byrne who was on his way to work when a deer darted out in front of him, causing him to crash his motorcycle. Officer Kowing and Officer Marzano were not only able to render aid and reach dispatch, but stayed with Officer O’Byrne until emergency crews arrived.
