Osceola Works - Animal Services’ New Policy During COVID-19

Osceola County, FL - April 7, 2020 - Even as the world deals with the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to note that our four-legged friends are being impacted as well. Through this crisis, the team at Animal Services continues to care for homeless animals, both in-house and through loving foster homes as well as dealing with other situations involving animals. They are paying extraordinary attention to detail in regards to the sanitary conditions at the Shelter as well as to the safety and the well-being of the public and the Animal Services Team. That is why there is a new policy in effect for visitors. Until further notice, citizens must make an appointment and be screened at the entrance upon arrival. Watch this video to find out more about how the team at Animal Services works to help our homeless pet population and the new shelter policy.
