Alert Osceola Emergency Notifications/Alerts
Receive alerts about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for our Emergency Alert Program. This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods. When you enroll for Emergency Alerts, you will have the option to subscribe to general community messages, including those from your County Commissioners. You may edit your account features at any time.
You will receive time-sensitive messages wherever you specify, such as your home, mobile or business phones, email address, text messages and more. You pick where, you pick how.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing
As a deaf or hard of hearing community member, you should know that the Alert Osceola is fully TDD & TTY compliant. Please use a text enabled device as your Primary phone number. Our current messaging does not communicate with the Sorenson Video Relay Service. We understand that the company is working to receive the “robotic” type call Alert Osceola generates. Please also include your email address as another method of notification.
In using your text capable cell phone, please include the provider from the drop-down list in the sign-up area. This includes all the primary cellular network companies such as Sprint, AT&T, Verizon etc. If you need assistance with Emergency Sign-ups, please email: EMDO@osceola.org and a staff member from Emergency Management will get back to you as soon as possible.
Again, thank you for using Alert Osceola!
