Hickory Tree Road

Project Details

Osceola County is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for Hickory Tree Road, approximately 11 miles from US 192 (south) to US 192 (north). This study will evaluate widening the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided urban roadway. In addition, multi-modal transportation improvements including continuous sidewalk and buffered bicycle lanes will be evaluated. The PD&E Study will involve a wide range of engineering assessments, environmental analysis and public involvement to identify and evaluate alternatives that meet the project needs while minimizing impacts to the surrounding environment. This Project is not yet funded for design or construction.
