Cyrils Drive Improvement Project
Osceola County is working closely with Tavistock, the developers of Sunbridge, to make a series of road improvements along Cyrils Drive. The improvement project, which is funded largely by development fees, is split into five different segments, as the map above depicts. Construction on intersection improvements at Narcoossee Road and Cyrils Drive should begin in the summer of 2021 and take approximately four to five months to complete. Concurrently, design is under way to widen Cyrils Drive from Narcoossee Road to Absher Road from two lanes to four lanes, with right-of-way acquisition expected to begin in the fall of 2021. Construction on this segment, a rendering of which is pictured below, is anticipated to begin in late 2022 and will include sidewalks, bicycle accommodations, curb and gutter and drainage improvements. Construction on Phase 1 of the Cyrils Drive improvements is complete; construction is underway for Phase 2, and design is now underway for Phase 3 of the project. Phases 1, 2 and 3 are all located within the Sunbridge development.
