Impact and Mobility Fees

IMPORTANT:  Effective January 1, 2026, the Community Development Office will no longer accept cash payments. The office will accept Visa, Mastercard, Apple and Google Pay, money orders, and cashier or personal checks. Impact and mobility fees will only accept debit, checks, and money orders as payment.

Osceola County assesses impact and mobility fees on new developments to provide funding for the County to create improvements needed to serve that development's users.

Impact and mobility fees are assessed as part of the plan review process. They must be paid prior to permit issuance and cannot be deferred. Payments can be made via debit card, check, or money order made out to Osceola County BoCC and mailed to:

In addition to the impact and mobility fees, special assessments for fire/rescue and solid waste (residential only) are calculated and paid based on the month the C.O. issued. Following the pro-rated initial payment of these special assessments, an annual assessment is included in your property tax bill.
