Free Residential Tire & Household Chemical Disposal Days
Osceola County provides residents with several Saturday Tire Disposal days a year at our Bass Road facility. We accept tires at no charge. Please see our guidelines below. Although household chemical drop-off is available during the regularly scheduled weekly hours, they may also be dropped off on these Saturday disposal days. This service is only available to Osceola County residents (proof of residency required). NOT available to commercial businesses.

Accepted Items
Tires:
- 4 passenger car tires per household with proof of residency (photo ID required) at no charge.
- Limit 8 tires per household per year
- Absolutely NO vendors or commercial tires are accepted.
Automotive: Antifreeze, solvents, batteries, oil, brake fluid, transmission fluid.
Paint: Spray paint, paint cans, paint thinners, wood preservatives.
Gardening: Pesticides, insect sprays or dust, weed killer, poison or insecticides.
Cleaning: Drain cleaner, degreasers, oven cleaners, moth balls, spot removers, polishes/wax, and pool chemicals.
Electronics: Old computers, monitors, televisions with tubes/flatscreens, cell phones, VCRs, detectors (i.e. Smoke, Carbon Monoxide, Radon ).

Instructions
- Bring proof of residency (photo ID required)
- If possible, bring hazardous materials in its original containers.
- Please mark materials or label “unknown”.
- Absolutely NO 55 gallon drums
DO NOT MIX MATERIALS TOGETHER. ABSOLUTELY NO VENDORS OR COMMERCIAL BUSINESS WASTE ACCEPTED.
Are these dates the only days I can dispose of tires & hazardous waste?
No, you can dispose of tires and hazardous waste year-round at the Bass Road site, but you must pay fees. These dates are special FREE days where residents can get rid of their tires at no cost.
