Osceola County officials cut the ribbon to a newly widened segment of South Poinciana Boulevard on Tuesday, October 13. The $82 million Poinciana Boulevard Widening Project expanded Poinciana Boulevard from two to four lanes over a 5.7 mile stretch from Trafalgar Boulevard to Pleasant Hill Road and included numerous other improvements.

Osceola County celebrated the completion of the Simpson Road North Widening and Improvement Project with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, October 12, 2026.
