Submit a Research Request

Before listing a property or transact a sale, please take some time to ensure there are no outstanding issues that may impact the sale.

Osceola County Code Enforcement will perform research on any property within its jurisdiction and provide you with a report which lists:

  • Any Code Compliance Liens outstanding and the payoff amount
  • Any open Code Compliance cases
  • Any open/expired permits that have not been completed.
  • Building violations

Submit a Request

Step 1.Create an Account

If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one online at permits.osceola.org, and login.

Step 2.Enter Complaint or Request

Click on the Enforcement tab, then click Enter Complaint or Request.

Step 3.Select Type of Request

Under Code Enforcement Request, select one:

  • "BAC Request" for Building Permit information status and/or any related fees.
  • "Lien Verification Request" for open code cases, building cases, compliance liens and for payoff amounts.

Step 4.Submit Your Payment

Payment is taken online at the time of application.

Please allow 7 -10 business days for all requests.
