Events & History
Austin Tindall Sports Complex has a long-standing history of hosting prestigious events and welcoming elite athletes from around the world. Over the years, the facility’s versatility and quality have attracted teams and organizations from across the globe, serving as both a training ground and competition site for international teams and nationally recognized sporting events.
The complex served as the practice facility for the 1994 Moroccan World Cup Team and the 1996 Japanese Olympic Team, and later hosted the National Archery Association of the United States’ 112th Kodak National Target Championships in August 1996.

Hardwood Court Classic
On February 3, 2018, Austin-Tindall Sports Complex hosted the first ever sanctioned high school boys basketball game outdoors on a wood court.
The Hardwood Court Classic represents a historic and innovative chapter in Austin-Tindall Sport Complex's event history, demonstrating the facility's ability to host unique, first-of-their-kind athletic experiences.
Game Schedule on February 3, 2018:
- 12:30 p.m.: Freedom High vs. Tohopekaliga High
- 2:30 p.m.: Cypress Creek High vs. Harmony High
This wood court will return as a requested facility to Austin-Tindall Sport Complex.
