Emergency Management Osceola County

The Office of Emergency Management coordinates disaster planning, response, and recovery to ensure Osceola County is prepared for hazards that may affect the community.

We lead emergency readiness through

  • Alert Osceola notification system for emergency situations like boil water notices, severe weather, and public safety alerts
  • Community engagement and training in basic first-aid skills
  • Volunteer coordination both before and after disasters
  • The Special Needs Program, which provides transportation and shelter for residents with medical, mobility, or functional needs during emergencies
  • Administration of several Emergency Response Plans, including the CEMP,  Local Mitigation Strategy, and Health Care Facility CEMP
