Responsibilities
- Manage stormwater systems to reduce flooding and filter pollutants
- Maintain stormwater ponds and identify ownership responsibilities
- Respond to reports of illicit discharges and stormwater pollution
- Support the Community Rating System to lower flood insurance premiums
- Offer public education on pond maintenance, algae control, and fertilizer use
- Assist with Letters of Map Revision and access to FEMA flood maps
