SunRail Customer Advisory Committee

Purpose

The SunRail Customer Advisory Committee was created in 2014 to provide customers of Central Florida’s Commuter Rail Transit service with an advisory voice in all aspects of SunRail’s operation.

Appointments and Qualifications

The County Commission was tasked with appointing two (2) representatives to the 10-member committee, joining representatives from Volusia, Seminole and Orange Countries as well as the City of Orlando. The Osceola County representatives must live in Osceola County, ride SunRail at least three days a week during a typical week, attend a minimum of four public meetings annually, represent Osceola County in a professional and courteous manner and coordinate information with Osceola County as requested.

Term Limits

Terms are one year.

Meeting Frequency, Time and Location

Meetings are held quarterly on the first Thursday of the month at 5:00 p.m. - LYNX Central Station 455 N. Garland Avenue Orlando.

Citizens are welcome to apply at any time, however applications are only considered when there is a vacancy.
