Notice of 30-Day Comment Period for Shingle Creek Shoal Improvements
Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR)
Infrastructure Repair Program
Osceola County is seeking public input on a proposed infrastructure improvement project designed to address flood risks in the Shingle Creek area. The Shingle Creek Shoal Improvements Project will involve the design, permitting, and removal of shoaling, as well as the widening of the creek channel. These enhancements are intended to reduce flooding in and around the Shingle Creek corridor, improving resilience and protecting nearby communities.
The project is part of the Infrastructure Repair Program and will be funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program, administered by the Florida Department of Commerce.
