Participation Opportunities In-Person and Online

 

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (Enterprise), will hold a Public Hearing for the above-referenced project. The Enterprise will provide several options to participate in this Public Hearing. You may participate virtually/online at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, via a computer, tablet, smartphone, or by telephone in listen-only mode using the toll-free number 1-877-309-2074, access code: 388-093-086. Alternatively, you may participate in-person at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at the St. Cloud Civic Center (Gym B), 3001 17th Street, St. Cloud, FL 34769. Also, in-person at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at theIntergenerational Recreation Center, 1590 9th Street SW, Vero Beach, FL 32962. 

If the in-person Public Hearing cannot be held due to severe weather or unforeseen conditions, it will be rescheduled to the alternate dates of Tuesday, December 16, 2025 (Intergenerational Recreation Center), and Thursday, December 18, 2025 (St. Cloud Civic Center, Gym B), at 5:30 p.m.

Please visit the project website, www.TurnpikeSR60toCWR.com, to register for the Public Hearing and to select your participation option. **Please note that registration works best with Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox web browsers.** Additional registration and project information is provided in the project newsletter.

This hearing will give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. Displays that illustrate the proposed improvements will be available at the hearing along with informational videos. All hearing materials will be posted to the project website on the day of the virtual hearing. This letter is being sent to all property owners and tenants within at least 300 feet of either side of the proposed project and to public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in the project.

A recording of the webinar will be available on the project website following the hearing. All comments received or postmarked no later than December 4, 2025, will be included in the records for the Public Hearing.
