Traffic Advisory: I-4 at World Drive Overnight Ramp Closures

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Motorists are advised that the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has rescheduled last week’s ramp closures at the Interstate 4 (I-4) and World Drive interchange for ramp work. Intermittent ramp closures are now scheduled from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on the nights of Wednesday, February 18 (Wednesday night/Thursday morning), and Thursday, February 19 (Thursday night/Friday morning), 2026.

Only one ramp will be closed at a time. The affected ramps and applicable detours are listed below:

  • I-4 eastbound off-ramp to World Drive northbound
    • Detour: Motorists intending to access World Drive northbound via I-4 eastbound should take Exit 62 (Disney World/Celebration) and stay right to exit to World Drive southbound toward Celebration. Make a U-turn at Celebration Boulevard to begin traveling on World Drive northbound.
  • State Road (S.R.) 417 southbound off-ramp to World Drive northbound
    • Detour: Motorists intending to access World Drive northbound via S.R. 417 southbound should continue on S.R. 417 and exit to World Drive southbound toward Celebration. Continue on World Drive, then make a U-turn at Celebration Boulevard to begin traveling northbound.
  • I-4 eastbound off-ramp to World Drive southbound
    • Detour: Motorists intending to access World Drive southbound via I-4 eastbound should take Exit 62 (Disney World/Celebration) and stay left to exit to World Drive northbound toward Disney World. Continue on World Drive for approximately 0.35 miles and make a U-turn to begin traveling on World Drive southbound.
  • S.R. 417 southbound off-ramp to World Drive southbound
    • Detour: Motorists intending to access World Drive southbound via S.R. 417 southbound should continue on S.R. 417, stay to the right, and exit to World Drive northbound toward Disney World. Continue on World Drive northbound for approximately 0.75 miles, then make a U-turn to begin traveling southbound toward Celebration.

Detour signage will be posted. The work schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Motorists should maintain a safe speed and avoid distractions.
