Traffic Notice: Median Construction and Left-Turn Access Changes

As part of the ongoing Simpson Road Widening and Improvements Project, roadway and safety enhancements are underway.

To support the permanent median and new traffic patterns, left-turn access from Simpson Road will be eliminated at select locations. Northbound left-turn access will be removed for Central Pointe Christian Academy, Center Well Senior Care, and Iglesia Presbyterian, as well as to local roads Derby Drive, Flamboyan Street, and Borinquen Drive. Southbound left-turn access will be removed for Family Dollar, Value Pawn, McDonald’s, and the plaza located at 2541 Simpson Road.

This change is part of the project’s traffic configuration. Left turns along Simpson Road will be permitted only at designated signalized intersections, as well as the Pebble Pointe and Sera Bella neighborhood entrances. While these two entrances are not signalized, left-turn access will be maintained to support traffic flow. The new traffic pattern will be in effect beginning February 15, 2026.

We understand this adjustment may require a change in your travel pattern. Please look for roadway signage and directional guidance in the area.
