Upcoming Public Meeting for Canoe Creek Road Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study
Public Meeting will be offered on multiple platforms
Osceola County, Florida — Osceola County will hold a public meeting regarding proposed improvements to Canoe Creek Road from Deer Run Road to U.S. 192 on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. The in-person meeting will be conducted as an Open House from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The purpose of this project is to evaluate the two-lane to four-lane widening of Canoe Creek Road and add bicycle and pedestrian features throughout the corridor. A Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Study involves a wide range of engineering assessments, environmental analysis and public involvement with the goal of developing transportation solutions, known as alternatives, that meet the project need while minimizing impacts to the surrounding environment.
Osceola County is offering multiple ways for the community to participate in the meeting. All participants, regardless of which platform they choose, will receive the same information.
Virtual Option: Interested persons may join the Virtual Public Meeting (VPM) from a computer, tablet, or mobile device. A VPM is a free live presentation or webinar over the internet. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting online.
