What are the park hours?

Why is the park I am looking for not listed on your website?

The park you're looking for may be managed by a surrounding municipalities (cities). There are several cities located inside Osceola County including the City of Kissimmee and the City of St. Cloud. These cities each have their own Parks department. Please refer to their websites to find the parks they manage.

When are the parks, athletic facilities, and boat ramps open?

The following parks are open from dawn until dusk:

  • Royal Palm
  • Waters Edge
  • Marydia Park
  • Tropical Park
  • Archie Gordon walking path

The following parks are open from dawn until 10 pm:

  • Oren Brown Park
  • BVL Park
  • Archie Gordon Park

Boat Ramps are open 24 hours a day.

Is there a cost to visit an Osceola County Park?

Osceola County Parks are free to visit.

Do you have any RV camping sites?

We only offer primitive tent camping with a maximum stay of four days

What time does the Splash Pad open and how much does it cost?

The Splash Pad is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, it is free and open to the public.

Are we allowed to take family pictures in a park?

Yes, you can take pictures. Commercial filming will need a permit.

Yes, you can ride your bike in Osceola County Parks.

Are there designated bike trails throughout the County?

Yes, there are designated bike paths on Neptune Road and Pleasant Hill Road.

Can I bring my dog to Osceola County Parks?

Yes! Dogs are welcome in most of our parks. Please note: Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Dogs are not allowed at the following parks:

Are there horse trails in any of the County parks, and does the Parks Department have horses for rent for trail riding?

Can I reserve pavilions at the County parks?

Yes – Pavilion rentals are on a first come, first serve basis. For pavilion reservations, you must complete the reservation online and meet all requirements outlined during the process, including providing proof of insurance if required.

I would like to rent a pavilion at South Port Park

How can I rent a pavilion at the lakefront?

While we offer rental spaces near the lakefront, the pavilions at Lakefront Park itself are managed by the City of Kissimmee and the City of St. Cloud, not Osceola County. Rentals for those pavilions require a separate reservation process through the city’s department. Please contact the city directly for lakefront pavilion rentals.
