Public Meeting: Old Lake Wilson Road (C.R. 545) Widening Design

Osceola County invites you to a Public Meeting regarding the Old Lake Wilson Road (C.R. 545) Widening Design, in-person on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 5:30-7:30 p.m., or virtually on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Old Lake Wilson Road will widen from two lanes to four lanes between C.R. 532 and Sinclair Road, an approximate 2.5-mile span. Osceola County will improve the section from C.R. 532 to Assembly Court, while FDOT will improve the section from Assembly Court to Sinclair Road, including the bridge over I-4. Both segments will add new bicycle and pedestrian features to create safer options for walking and biking. Osceola County’s portion will also include upgrades such as a new traffic signal at Spine Road, modifications to the Excitement Drive intersection, drainage and stormwater ponds, a bridge crossing at Davenport Creek, and enhanced street lighting. These improvements will enhance safety and improve traffic flow along the corridor.

The County is offering multiple ways to participate in the meeting. All participants will receive the same information regardless of which option they choose.

• In-Person Option: Interested persons may attend an open house at the Mystic Dunes Golf Club, 7850 Shadow Tree Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34747 on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. Attendees will have the opportunity to come anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and provide comments.
• Virtual Meeting (Online) Option: Interested persons may participate virtually from a computer, tablet, or mobile device via GoToWebinar https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/1236962025955128412 (link is case sensitive) on Thursday, October 23, 2025. The meeting will run from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. and will include the same presentation offered at the in-person open house. Attendees in the virtual meeting will have an opportunity to download project displays and provide written comments or questions.
• Phone-In Option (Listen Only): Interested persons may also call into the virtual meeting being held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, by dialing (213) 929-4212 and entering the passcode 651-655-244 when prompted. Participants choosing this option are encouraged to provide comments or ask questions after the meeting by contacting the Osceola County Project Manager, Stephanie Underwood, P.E., at 407-742-0565 or Stephanie.Underwood@osceola.org.

All meeting materials will be available on the project’s website at (https://one.osceola.org/oldlakewilsonroad) in advance of the meeting. A link to a recording of the virtual meeting will be posted after the meeting. While comments are welcomed throughout the project, all comments received by Wednesday, November 5, 2025, will become a part of the record for this meeting.
