Osceola County will hold a Public Meeting regarding the Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study for Lake Tohopekaliga Road in Osceola County, Florida, virtually on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 and in-person on Thursday, March 5, 2026

The Public Meeting is being held to give persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. The proposed improvements include the addition of sidewalks, bike lanes, on-street parking, and a median.

Osceola County is offering multiple ways for the community to participate in the meeting. All participants, regardless of which platform they choose, will receive the same information.

  • Virtual (Online) Option: Interested persons may join the Virtual Public Meeting from a computer, tablet, or mobile device. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting online.   • In-Person Option: Participants may attend in person at the St. Cloud Community Center, 3101 17th Street, St. Cloud, FL 34769. The in-person meeting will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in an open house format.

All meeting materials, including the presentation, will be available on the Project website at one.osceola.org/laketohopekaligaroad prior to the meeting.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable federal environmental laws for this Project are being, or have been, carried-out by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to 23 United States Code (USC) Section 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated May 26, 2022, and executed by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and FDOT. This planning product may be adopted into the environmental review process, pursuant to Title 23 USC § 168(4)(d), or the state project development process.
