Westside Blvd Extension Public Information Meeting

Osceola County is holding a public meeting on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. regarding the Westside Boulevard Extension Project.

The Project includes the design, permitting and construction of a new four-lane divided roadway, about 3,000 linear feet in length, which will connect an existing segment of Westside Boulevard to the north, adjacent to Soleil at Westside residential development, and on the south near Barry Road, adjacent to the Eden Gardens Resort and Champions Gate Tract X. An additional southern extension to connect Westside Boulevard to the south will be designed and constructed by development interested in fronting the corridor.

The study involves a range of engineering assessments, environmental analysis, and public involvement to ultimately arrive at the recommended alignment while minimizing impacts to the surrounding environment and the citizens of Osceola County. This public meeting is an opportunity for you to learn more about the study, ask questions, and provide valuable input.

Interested persons may attend an Open House at ChampionsGate Golf Club, Champions Hall, 8575 White Shark Boulevard, ChampionsGate, Florida 33896.

Attendees will have an opportunity to come anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to view project displays, speak with project team members, and provide comments.
