Responsibilities
- Enforce regulations to control development in flood-prone areas and preserve natural floodplains
- Participate in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
- Offer assistance in determining if a property lies within a flood hazard zone
- Provide updated FEMA Flood Hazard Maps
- Share FAQs and guidance on flood insurance, requirements, and floodplain regulations
