Affordable Housing Advisory Committee

The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) reviews and recommends changes to the local government’s policies, procedures, ordinances, land development regulations, and comprehensive plans. They aim to promote affordable housing while ensuring properties can appreciate in value.

The AHAC recommendations may include modifying or repealing existing measures, creating exceptions for affordable housing, or introducing new policies, procedures, regulations, ordinances, or plan provisions. They may also suggest amendments to the local government's comprehensive plan and related regulations, ordinances, and policies.

This committee conducts these reviews at least once every three years. The Osceola County Affordable Housing Advisory Committee works to make our county a vibrant and welcoming place for everyone.
