Seeking General Contractors

The Osceola County Housing and Community Services Department is seeking licensed, bonded, and insured general contractors to join our contractor pool for the Housing Rehabilitation Program. Eligible contractors can bid on projects that include the rehabilitation or reconstruction of single-family and manufactured homes.

Selected contractors will be part of a contractor pool, which will have the opportunity to bid on privately owned single-family or manufactured home rehabilitation construction projects. Osceola County receives state and federal funding through the Florida Housing Finance Corporation and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide these rehabilitation services. We will provide training on the bidding and invoicing process!

Eligibility Requirements

  • Business must be bonded and insured
  • Ability to properly document purchasing activities/materials
  • Business must be in good standing; debarred contractors/subcontractors will not qualify
  • Have a full understanding of the reimbursement method and federal policies
