How do I dispose of my current garbage containers that I purchased if I don’t want to use them for yard waste?

Please place them at the curb on your bulk garbage day. Please clearly mark the container "Trash, please dispose, or please take."

We suggest marking the container with spray paint, a marker, or tape and writing over the tape in large letters. Your waste collector will be on the look out for these marked containers.

Do I have to select the same size for both carts?

No, you do not have to select the same size for both carts. You can select the cart size for waste and recycle that best suit your needs.

What is the capacity of each cart size?

  • 96 gallon cart = about (10) 13-gallon bags
  • 65 gallon cart = about (6) 13-gallon bags
  • 35 gallon cart = about (3) 13-gallon bags

Our family accumulates more garbage than can fit in a 96 gallon container. Is it possible to have more than one cart?

Yes, residents may contact Osceola County Solid Waste at 407-742-7750 to request additional carts for recycling, garbage, or both.

How can I request containers?

You may request a bin or report a bin issue using our online service form here: https://adwhc.service-now.com/csp?id=csp_submit_request

If you are a new resident who needs to start new curbside service, please call our main office at 407-742-7750.

If you only have a temporary increase in trash or recycling, you may request up-to 2 supplemental collection services (garbage or recycling) at no charge each year. Additional collection beyond the two free services will require a fee and prepayment. Learn more about this service on our main Curbside Collection page.

Carts do not fit in my garage / My HOA does not allow for carts to be left outside. What are my options?

Osceola County does not have the ability to affect HOA bylaws. We suggest placing a request with Waste Management for smaller carts. You can request a cart exchange using our online form or by calling 407-605-3892.

Will I receive a discount if I only live in my home 6 months out of the year?

No, Osceola County Solid Waste Assessments are not discounted on properties that are occupied on a part-time basis.
