Hispanic Heritage Month

Osceola County is one of three Hispanic-majority counties in Florida, with a 56.8 percent Hispanic population.

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

Osceola County holds an annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month featuring music, fellowship and more. With a Hispanic majority population, we have celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month for more than a decade (16 years).
