The Tranquility Development of County Impact was an approved mixed-use development of approximately 552.4 acres. The Tranquility DCI PD was approved for 100,000 sq. ft. of commercial/retail/service/non-residential uses, 811 mixed single family residential dwelling units, 900 mixed multi-family residential dwelling units, ancillary residential uses parks, recreation, open space and pedestrian/bicycle facilities, road networking to interconnected DRI projects and an elementary school site with 1,110 student stations. The Tranquility DCI was approved by the Osceola County Board of County Commissioners on December 22, 2008. By the terms of the developer’s agreement, this DCI expired on December 22, 2015. Development is subject to the South of Lake Toho Conceptual Master Plan.
